MEET THE PAINT AND SIP ARTIST

DANIELLE DEROIS

What started as a creative outlet after I experienced a personal loss has grown into something truly beautiful. I turned to art as a way to process grief and express emotions I couldn’t put into words. It was healing. It was necessary.

Whilst dabbling in various creative mediums, I ended up attending a paint and sip class in Phoenix and found myself thinking, “Hey, what's stopping me from doing this in Prescott?". That moment sparked the beginning of my own paint and sip small business journey, and I haven’t looked back since.

Today, I host monthly classes at County Seat Restaurant, who graciously offered me their space from the very beginning. Their support has meant the world, and together, we’ve created a fun, welcoming atmosphere where creativity thrives. I intentionally prefer my classes small to keep things cozy and personal and whenever the classes sell out, my mind still can't comprehend that this level of support is real.

I’m constantly humbled that people choose to spend their time (and money!) with me, creating, laughing, and learning together.

Along this journey I’ve had the privilege to meet so many amazing locals and become much more immersed in my community.

What started as a personal escape has become a thriving, women-owned small business—and I’m proud to be coming up on my two-year anniversary.

I couldn’t have done any of this without the support of my incredible husband who’s been with me every step of the way! He’s my personal accountant, my tech guy, babysitter, tax professional, website designer, cheerleader, and general all-around perfect partner.

My best friend Dannae, who assists me at all my classes, is a lifesaver and I so appreciate her. I couldn’t do it without her.

This business is built on connection, healing, and joy. And I’m so grateful to be on this colorful journey with all of you.
